The company was founded in Germany in 1959 and from the beginning they have specialised in the production of genuine metal laminates. The genuine metallic surface adds a touch of luxury to the laminate and over the years the products have been used in a variety of interiors such as hotels and restaurants, exhibition stands, decorations and a wide range of projects. Due to the constraints experienced during 2020, ABET has decided to extend the 2019-2021 collection until the end of 2022. After that, a completely renewed collection without an expiry date will be launched and will be announced in due course.

TABU has launched a new ReThinking the Future collection with 15 different patterns. Six of the shapes are technical veneers and nine are inlaid shapes made from different types of wood. At the ISH in Frankfurt, KEUCO again presented new products as usual: a new series EDITION 90 was presented, featuring furniture, accessories, faucets and mirrors in the same style. The series continues KEUCO's familiar simple, elegant line. The ROYAL MODULAR wall-hung or wall-integrated mirror cabinet has been upgraded to model version 2.0 with a choice of width, height and depth and intelligent LED lighting.

Paola Navone and McDonald's have collaborated to create seven new restaurants, all with a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere. Navone's multi-faceted approach to design blends perfectly with McDonald's French values of hospitality. The concept took three years to create and realise. The challenge was to combine Navone's classic design with the technical requirements. The choice of durable, high quality and aesthetic materials was paramount; ABET digitally printed laminates met these requirements.

A love of table tennis and design led a company called Art of Ping Pong to develop a new type of ping pong table, the Mini ArtTable. When not in use, the table hangs as a beautiful element on the wall, quickly transforming into a ping pong table when needed. Studio Myerscough selected Abet Laminate products for a permanent exhibition at the new London Design Museum. The London Design Museum opened its doors at the end of 2016 in a 1960s modernist building in Kensington. Numerous designers and architectural studios were involved in the five-year renovation. On the first floor is perhaps the most interesting part of the museum: the 'designer-producer-user' exhibition curated by Studio Myerscough, which also renovated this section in 2018.
