Sibu has developed a fire rating for its most popular surfaces. The Deco-Line and Structure-Line ranges are now available in B1 quality in 1mm thickness without adhesive sticker. The boards have the same surface finish as standard boards, but with fire retardants on the backing. The building authorities have issued a certificate for Sibu B1 quality boards that meet the fire classification requirements according to DIN 4102.
