A love of table tennis and design led a company called Art of Ping Pong to develop a new type of ping pong table, the Mini ArtTable. When not in use, the table hangs as a beautiful element on the wall, quickly transforming into a ping pong table when needed. The idea was born out of today's need for compact living and a love of beautiful objects that also have a practical purpose. The surface of this table is made using Abet Laminat

Studio Myerscough selected Abet Laminate products for a permanent exhibition at the new London Design Museum. The London Design Museum opened its doors at the end of 2016 in a 1960s modernist building in Kensington. Numerous designers and architectural studios were involved in the five-year renovation. On the first floor is perhaps the most interesting part of the museum: the 'designer-producer-user' exhibition curated by Studio Myerscough, which also renovated this section in 2018.

DUBBELOP's Pauline Barendse and Jan Matthesius chose Abet Laminati POLARIS Noir Pol as the material for the serving dish used in the 2018 Bocuse D`or cooking competition. The Dutch team used this unique handmade serving dish with stainless steel inlaid elements to present their dishes. The black and matt surface of the Polaris gives all the attention to the gastronomic masterpieces prepared by chef Lars Drost of the Ciel Bleu restaurant.

Coin manufacturer TABU has released a new red 555.18 folder. No other veneer manufacturer has a comprehensive collection like this and it will be the perfect tool for designers. The folder contains 555 genuine dyed-through and technical veneer designs, divided into 13 different colour scale charts that clearly show the wood species, veneer code, grain pattern and whether the veneer is genuine or technical.
