Since the beginning of its production in the 1950s, Abet Laminati has been committed to respecting the environment. Combining environmental and production challenges is an ongoing part of Abet's product development and company philosophy.
One breakthrough is the development of the first fully recyclable laminate by Abet, TEFOR, which is made from production waste.
Ethical business culture
Abet Laminati takes responsibility for the well-being of both the internal environment (e.g. the well-being and health of employees) and the external environment (e.g. air, water). Together, these have created a sustainable ethical corporate culture for Abet, which is a key part of their corporate strategy and is constantly monitored through an internal system.
Manufacturing process
Abet Laminati takes the environment into account throughout its manufacturing process:
- suppliers of backing paper comply with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) regulations on the proper sourcing of wood from responsibly managed forests.
water-based resins have been in use long before the regulations required them.
-first Italian manufacturer in its field to install catalytic combustion equipment to purify the air.
-has significantly reduced noise pollution, water consumption, production waste and energy consumption caused by the plant.
Recyclable materials are used for packaging and, where possible, other modes of transport than land transport alone are preferred for transporting products.
This is our way of saying that Abet Laminati and their products contribute to the responsibility of our environment. Read more in the brochure below!
