Abet Laminate's POLARIS laminate collection is refined and durable, smooth and velvety to the touch. Ultramatta POLARIS surface resists impact, scratches and heat and repels fingerprints. POLARIS does not
contains a nanomaterial, but similar properties are achieved with a hardened acrylic surface.
In addition to the durability of the surface, smaller surface scratches can be removed by rubbing the laminate with a "magic sponge".

POLARIS surface is non-porous and has excellent antibacterial properties, making it suitable for use in food contact. According to a 24h test carried out by the IMSL laboratory in the UK, the bacterial destruction rate was 99.99% without the use of any additives (allergens) in the laminate.
